So... last night was the Bound to the Road Tour's trip to Kentucky. The line-up was Side Sling Straight (something like that), Invitro, 36 Crazy Fists, Napalm Death, and Devildriver headlining.

At first, Walls of Jherico was suppose to play but could not make it. SSS took their place and noone in the hall knew who they were. A five foot 5 ish black girl got up on stage. The song started off with double bass and a cool guitar right. We all thought they would be like Flyleaf.... hell no... she started off screaming and the whole crowd went crazy. They were insane.

Next up was Invitro. My friends were saying how they were punk metal ish. I was kinda skeptic about them. When they got on stage they were all wearing lab coats and tin foil helmets of different shapes. All in all, their show was just metal mixed with MSI/GWAR stage play.

The third band was 36 Crazy Fists. All I knew was they were a more masculine version of the old KSE. They got on stage about six to seven feet tall. They announced they were all from Alaska which didn't really surprise me because of the physique. They did sound like the old KSE which wasn't that bad.

Fourth, the legendary metal hating Napalm Death. They don't really hate metal, just they make fun of it. But, one thing that doesn't make sense, they are one of the most metal bands I have ever heard live. They played "Suffer", a less than two second long song. Sadly, I was the only one in the whole hall that knew what they just played. When I cheered after, and the room was silent, the lead singer looks at me and said "That kid knows what the fuck is going on."

Last, Devildriver. They get on stage and the first song "Grinfucked" is played. Everyone went crazy and people started crowd surfing and getting on stage. The first person that got on stage, a security guard came up to take the kid away, but the lead singer stopped the song, and told the security guard to back off and let Kentucky have a great time. So, during their whole set, we got to stage dive and crowd surf without fault. I was able to get on stage 4 times and dive off. On the 5th time, while getting pushed on the top of the hands of everyone, a humongoloid stage dove right on me and kneed me in the back of the neck. Other than that, the set was great. They even played "Digging up the Corpses"!!!!!!! Started and ended with my two favorite songs by them.

All in all, the show was brutal and well worth the injury. A friend of mine that went with me, re-tore his ACL and was still moshing even with a torn ACL. So metal right there.
